Each month we will be introducing you to different members of the Donseed team. This month, the “spotlight is on” Paul Nagle.
What is your role at Donseed?
I am the Business Account Manager.
How long have you been working at Donseed?
3 Years 8 Months.
What does a typical day at Donseed constitute for you?
Usually 3 to 4 days a week I spend out of the office meeting our customers and from time to time some prospects too. I also work closely with our Turnstile Hardware partners to help deliver the software requirements to their customers.
What is your favourite thing about working at Donseed?
Meeting existing and new customers and seeing the real change that our products can deliver to all different types of businesses. In construction, I have found that no two businesses are the same and I really enjoy getting in a seeing how different organisations tackle projects in different and unique ways. As a bonus, our offices are located in the City Centre which lends to a great social aspect of the job.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
My two great passions are for sport and music. I like following sport, but I much prefer participating in sport. I play indoor football twice a week, and have recently signed up to cycle in the Birmingham Velo 100 in team Donseed (www.donseed.com/about-donseed/donseed-velo-birmingham-2017/), so my training focus now is around that. I play guitar and provide backing vocals for my Singer/Songwriter friend and occasional you can find my rocking out on the tambourine too. We have been lucky enough to support the likes of Wet Wet Wet & Mike and The Mechanics on their respective tours, which has included venues like the Royal Albert Hall, 02 Arena London, SSE Arena Glasgow & the 3 Arena in Dublin just to name a few… you can see us in action in the video below.
What is your favourite city you’ve been to, or would like to go to?
I’m lucky enough to have been to lots of amazing cities across the world, which means I can’t just pick one! Berlin, San Francisco, Seattle and London would all be up there for me all for different reasons. I would love to visit Tokyo and am planning on heading out there with my friends for the 2019 Ruby World Cup…. better start saving now!
What is your tipple of choice?
I love a local or regional beer and at the moment I am enjoying Purity, a Warwickshire based Brewery. Their Longhorn IPA is pretty special.
What are your top three favourite movies of all time?
• Man on Fire
• Kung Fu Panda 1, 2 & 3
What TV Series are you watching at the moment?
Re-watching Game of Thrones S6 in preparation for S7 in July.
What is (or would be) your go to karaoke song?
Johnny Cash – Ring of Fire. It’s a song we have covered a number of times and the words are easy to remember!
