Family-owned Hope and Clay Construction is the latest civil engineering contractor to choose Donseed’s Biometric Workforce Management Solution as it looks to reduce costs with more accurate timesheets. Replacing their current paper system, the company is now using Donseed across all of their sites to manage site attendance, qualifications and health & safety.
Established in 1970, Hope and Clay Construction has a strong reputation for providing clients requirements on time and to budget. The company specialises in the civil engineering sector, and has completed many schemes for local authorities and private developers over the years. All operatives are directly employed by the company, with no agency or self employed.
After receiving an email communication from Donseed, the management team at Hope and Clay Construction were interested in exploring the use of biometrics on site and invited Donseed in for a meeting and a software demonstration. Following a successful meeting and initial on site trial of the product, Donseed is now being rolled-out across all sites.
Ray Simpson, Sales Director at Donseed, says: “With such a large directly employed workforce it is vital that Hope and Clay Construction accurately record the hours worked by each operative on site. We are delighted that the Hope and Clay Construction has chosen Donseed to help them achieve this, as well as streamline a number of different reporting lines.”
